06.08.07 - From Garages to Affordable Homes - Dorchester

The idea of developing garage sites into more affordable housing in Dorset is being explored by Magna Housing Association.

To develop this idea, Magna Housing Association are consulting with the public as they consider a number of Dorchester sites including Eddison Avenue, Claudius Close and Martyr Close.

The plans for the proposed improvements will be available for the public to view at Magna’s Bailey office, High Street East, Dorchester from 6th – 16th August 2007.

Graham Colls, Group Chief Executive commented, “This is another way in which Magna is trying to deal with the problem of too little affordable housing in our area.” Magna would appreciate any feedback from the public about the plans.
