12.08.08 - FAMILY FUN WITH MAGNA ON 19TH

Are you in need of entertainment for your children over the summer holidays? Magna Housing Association (MHA) may have just the thing. MHA and its residents are hosting a ‘Community Fun Day’ on Tuesday 19th August in Dorchester.

The event which promises to be a fun day out for all the family is being held at Victoria Park Playfield off Elizabeth Place in Dorchester. It is primarily targeting MHA residents who will be entitled to a free lunch in the form of a tasty hog roast with all the trimmings. However, everyone is welcome and non-residents will be asked for a nominal sum for food, still making for a great value day out.

The Fun Day will play host to, a bouncy castle, face painting, workshops where children can make robots from recycled materials, a colouring competition and much, much more.

In an age when recycling is more important than ever, the event has recycling as a theme. Helping to make the day a big success will be Dorset Reclaim, WDDC, the Scrap Store, staff and residents of MHA will also be on hand to make sure the day will be fun for everyone.
