05.02.2008 -Magna Housing Association to lead in 100% affordable housing project in Bridport

Through a selection process headed up by West Dorset District Council, Bridport Town Council, Allington Parish Council and Bridport Local Area Partnership, Magna Housing Association has been selected to lead a 100% affordable housing development project in Bridport.

The development is on land owned by West Dorset District Council at Flaxhayes and will provide in the region of 50 affordable homes. This land should not be confused with Magna's sheltered housing scheme called Flaxhayes on St Swithins Road, Bridport.

To give members of the public an opportunity to comment on the proposed development, all of the stakeholders involved will be holding three consultation sessions at the following venues in Bridport.

Monday 18th February 2008: Forsters Memorial Hall, Bradpole.
5.00pm - 7.30pm.

Wednesday 20th February 2008: Sea Scout Hall, St Swithins Road.
3.00pm - 7.30pm.

Saturday 23rd February: St Marys Hall, South Street, Bridport.
10.00am - 3.00pm.
