04.09.07 - Busy Dorset Show Magna-fied!

It was difficult not to notice the red Magna Housing Balloons, Bags and umbrellas if you visited the Dorset Show over the weekend. Goats, Pigs, Sheep and Cows were all missing on the day, but they don’t seem to have affected the number of visitors. The weather held off, with the sunshine making a few appearances, spirits were high and the crowds were large.

Staff repesenting the expertise of Customer Services, Careline and Charter were there to hand out advise and information along with the 2000 balloons used over the weekend. The free prize draw giveaway saw gifts being distributed from bottles of wine to Magna pens.

Diamond Faces’ Ronnie painted faces for Magna for two days, breaking only to eat! Donations were collected for Weldmar Hospice Trust in exchange for creating the dogs, butterflies and other exotic creatures.

Also on offer at the show were the largest vegetables I’ve ever seen! Though these were only to admire, they couldn’t be purchased, there were plenty of stands for the shop-a-holic in all of us.

Monster trucks were the star of the show, being very impressive, and the falconry display generated the ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs’ from the crowds. The main ring held horse competitions with vintage cars, tractors and packs of hounds.

Thanks to all who helped with the magnificent Magna effort, a great number of people came and visited the stand and will remember the Magna experience!
