10.08.06 - Decorating Dunster!

Magna West Somerset snatched the ‘Best Decorated Trade Stand’ at Dunster Show. With the colourful red-adorned stand, balloons, plants, sweets and housing information, the stand caught the judge’s eye and was described as “very people friendly!”

The prize money of £25 was donated to the local charity St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice, a charity which has been chosen by staff for further donations later this month of £578.00. Staff contribute to a dress down day once a month when a collection is made.

The show, held on Friday 17th August, saw a (mostly) dry day, and although the absence of sheep and cows were sadly missed, there were still plenty of people at the show enjoying the many sights and sounds.
