Support Worker
Based in Exeter Supported Housing projects

Salary £14,643 per annum
plus benefits including 5 weeks annual leave and a final salary pension scheme

37 hours per week

We are looking for an enthusiastic Support Worker to work with vulnerable young people aged 16 to 25 in accommodation-based projects in Exeter. The projects are located in the city centre and staffed 24 hours a day on a rota basis.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate:
• previous experience of Supported Housing (preferred, but not essential)
• non judgemental and empathetic approach with client group
• effective communication skills
• the ability to work as part of a team
• confidence in dealing with challenging situations
• a flexible approach to working evenings, weekends & nights
• good IT skills using mainly Word, Excel and Outlook software
