Bull Bridge Mead
We have started work on a development of eight new build properties in the village of Halstock, West Dorset, located approximately 5 miles south of Yeovil. Halstock lies on the route of the Harrow Way, an ancient track way possibly dating from the Stone Age that ran from Devon to Kent.
Located on the edge of the village, the design of our development mirrors the existing, linear semi-detached properties in Bull Bridge Mead. The rear gardens will back onto paddocks, with open countryside beyond. Facilities in the village include a community shop, pub, village hall, church and a variety of social groups and activities, providing an already sustainable community in which new residents can thrive.
The homes comprise the following mix:
1 x 2-bedroom home and 1 x 3-bedroom home for shared ownership.
2 x 1-bedroom homes, 1 x 2-bedroom home and 3 x 3-bedroom homes for rent.
These new homes form part of our Phase 1 programme of 46 modular homes. Once the groundworks have been completed, the ready-built modules will be craned into position in early summer of 2022, followed by the finishing works such as installing the roofs and completing the external works. The homes should be available for occupation in late autumn of 2022.
This land was purchased from a local couple - read the story here.
