Duncan Harvey, Housing Development Manager at Sedgemoor District Council, said: “As a Council we have a huge housing challenge trying to help the ever-growing numbers of people seeking our help to simply find somewhere to live. Projects like helps us rise this challenge. These houses will form part of Sedgemoor’s housing programme which will help us to meet the ever increasing demand for housing locally.”
David Eccles, Head of Stakeholder Engagement, Hinkley Point C for EDF Energy said “HPC is absolutely delighted that some of its Housing Fund is being used to fund this build of 18 Affordable Homes that will increase the availability of accommodation for some families who are in greatest need of support in Bridgwater.
