Today marks the beginning of Net Zero Week, and we’d like to share some of the work we’ve been doing towards a more sustainable future for Magna.
We’ve been leading the way in modern methods of construction and are delivering these on sites across Dorset, with our latest portfolio being net zero and all-electric. These bring lots of benefits when it comes to sustainability, as building homes in a factory helps to keep construction traffic off the road, it means there’s less waste at the end, and the investment in the fabric will help households with the costs of heating their homes.
We’re also working towards a solution to retrofit our existing homes to make them more energy efficient, not only as part of our sustainability goals set out in our brilliant basics strategy, but also to provide our existing customers with more efficient and affordable ways to heat and power their homes.
