We’re proud to be supporting Pride Month this June - a month dedicated to celebrating LGBTQIA+ communities all around the world, and a celebration of people coming together. Pride Month advocates for acceptance and equality, and celebrates the work of LGBTQIA+ people, education in their history, and raises awareness of the issues affecting their communities.

We’ll be providing opportunities for our colleagues to share conversations surrounding equality, diversity, and inclusion within Magna, as well as other ways to show their support at work.

Our colleagues have come together to plan a range of activities this month and have also decided to support Space Youth Project, an organisation that provides regular, free youth groups across Dorset with one-to-one support to young LGBT+ people and their families, as well as workshops for schools and professional training.

Ami Davis, our Director for Organisational Capability, said: "I'm really pleased that our colleagues are supporting this month so passionately, have initiated this focus and are keen to support Space Youth Project as part of our overall activities. We want to make sure that everyone at Magna is valued and welcomed for their individuality, and we aim throughout this month to help people understand more about what Pride stands for."

Helen Walsh, CEO of Space Youth Project, said: “We're delighted to be partnering with Magna Housing to ensure that young LGBT+ people who need that extra bit of love and kindness find it. This is important all year round, but we are especially grateful for Magna’s help during Pride Month and are looking forward to building a wonderful relationship with them that will benefit all.”
