This week, as part of National Apprenticeship Week, we attended the careers fair at Yeovil College, to promote the fantastic opportunities apprenticeships at Magna can provide.

Heidi Trapani, People Experience Manager, said: “We’ve been committed to supporting apprenticeships for several years.  We recognise that hiring apprentices and ensuring excellent quality of the training provided is a productive and effective way to grow our talent and skills - an essential part of our talent development.”

We currently have apprentices of all ages working within Magna, with committed mentors who support their training to help them achieve a nationally recognised qualification in their chosen career.  We work with fantastic learning providers who are dedicated to delivering the best experience for our apprentices.

In celebration of National Apprenticeship Week, we are delighted to reflect on the hard work of our current and former apprentices. Heidi said: “To see their progress, having built confidence through networking and making connections with colleagues, to successfully gaining their qualifications and then going on to secure permanent employment and progression is inspiring.”

We caught up with some of our apprentices this week and asked them what it’s like doing an apprenticeship and being part of #TeamMagna. Watch the video below to find out what they thought.

Heidi added: “We loved taking part in the careers fair and supporting our learning providers this week. It was great to meet so many young adults with such energy and ambition for building their future.”

Our ambition is to be a great place to work - where talented and ambitious people enjoy rewarding and fulfilling careers in an inspirational environment.  If you’d like to join #TeamMagna, visit our careers section for the latest vacancies.
