Magna Housing Group is one of the largest housing associations in the south west.
Providing a wide range of housing services to over 9,000 homes and employing over 360 staff, Magna welcomes applications from all persons, regardless of sex, age, marital status, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, religion/belief, political beliefs or disability.
Our housing associations, MHA and MWS, employ approximately 200 and 80 staff respectively. Providing front line services to our residents, including customer services, housing management, technical services and building services, each operation is staffed at all levels from heads of department, who report to the relevant director, to administrative staff. Our repairs and maintenance programme is carried out by our own skilled labour force, including carpenters, electricians and plumbers.
The parent of the group, Magna Housing Group Ltd, is responsible for the smooth running of overall operations. With over 80 employees, MHGL provides central services to our housing associations, including legal, finance, IT, HR, facilities and communication departments.
Magna employees for its development company, Charter (S.W.) Ltd, are responsible for the acquisition of land, negotiations with developers and agents, and sales of shared ownership homes.
Magna Careline staff take calls 24 hours a day from residents and staff at our sheltered housing schemes and out of hours calls for both associations. They also take out of hours calls for other businesses, provide response handling, administrative support and management services within the company.
