We’d like to say a big congratulations to Leonie Gunn, Trainee Asset Surveyor at Magna, for gaining her Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor qualification.

Leonie chose to do this qualification as she has an interest in all things #energy and #retrofit, and it’s a gateway qualification to many more. She said:

“The course involved a week’s intense training in Lutterworth and covered everything from the makeup of a building, to measuring and drawing plans to carry out energy performance certificates. I had a lovely group of people on the course from varied backgrounds, so we all brought different knowledge to the table which was interesting.”

Leonie originally joined Magna as part of our sheltered housing team, and then moved into our asset management team as an admin where she discovered her passion for the work that they do. She’s now training to be an asset surveyor. She continued:

“Having this qualification will offer more possibilities for myself, and for Magna, to provide energy performance certificates more efficiently and reduce the number of visits for our customers, resulting in a better customer experience.”

“Magna helped to provide the time I needed for the week-long course and paid for my expenses. My colleagues were also very supportive and offered advice before and after the course. My team and manager are great!”

We’re proud to be able to support colleagues like Leonie to continue to develop their skills and pursue their passions surrounded by colleagues who support them every step of the way.

We’re the place where talented and ambitious people enjoy rewarding and fulfilling careers in an inspirational environment. See what opportunities are available to join #TeamMagna and turn your potential into success with us here.
