We’re pleased to have again received the highest ratings given by the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) for our governance and financial viability.

In December, the RSH announced that Magna Housing had retained the gradings of G1, for governance, and V1, for viability. This judges us as compliant with the standards it sets for social housing providers.

This means we are in a strong financial position to deal with a wide range of challenges in the year ahead. We also have effective arrangements in place to make decisions and oversee how we are run.

In 2023, we will enter the third and final year of our Brilliant Basics strategy. This is the first phase of a 10-year vision to ‘create great homes together’, which aims to establish the strong foundations on which to achieve this, working with our customers, colleagues and partners.

Selina White, Chief Executive of Magna, said: “This is good news for our customers, colleagues and partners, as it means the regulator has confidence that Magna is a good housing association that is well-governed and is in a solid financial position. I’d like to thank our colleagues and Board, whose hard work and care for our customers have helped us retain these top gradings for yet another year.”
