What is STAIRs?
Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs) is a new government standard which provides tenants with more information about their landlord, their homes and the services they receive.
The STAIRs publication scheme will become a legal requirement for housing associations from the 1st October 2026, with a legal requirement to answer information requests from 1st April 2027.
The seven categories below follow the government guidance for STAIRs. We'll be adding more information to these sections as it becomes available.
