Sherborne Residents' Group
We're working with Sherborne Town Council to create a new group for residents in Sherborne to get together and talk about issues that matter in the town.
The new Residents Group will enable people living in Sherborne to work together to address common problems in your neighbourhood, such as crime, safety, or environmental issues. As a group, you would be able to advocate for the interests of other residents on a wide range of issues (eg housing and amenities etc) which will help to influence discussions when dealing with local authorities, landlords, or other decision-makers with a collective voice.
To begin, we're asking Magna residents to join the group. Once the group is established, non-Magna residents will also be able to join. There's a limit of only two people from each road or street, so we encourage you to join as soon as possible if you're interested.
Younger residents' views are often under-represented, so we're particularly keen to hear from you if you're aged between 18 and 50.
Once we know how many people would like to get involved, we'll arrange a get together with interested residents to plan how the group will work.
