Our team

We’re an ambitious and forward thinking housing association serving customers in Dorset and Somerset. We want to be the place where talented and ambitious people enjoy rewarding and fulfilling careers in an inspirational environment.

Our vision of creating great homes together is fundamental to our work, and we’ve got big plans to be beyond the best over the next ten years. We’re on an exciting journey – one that requires both agility in how our business develops over the next decade, and different, innovative ways of working as we explore new territory.

We’re a great place to work and we’re not afraid to think and act big. We’ve seen how our workforce of over 450 colleagues has developed and adapted over the past few months, and have been quick to adopt new and creative working practices. This is indicative of how the organisation is being more responsive in its approach and looking towards a more agile way of working. By working differently we’re create capacity to do more of the things our customers tell us they want and need both today and, importantly, in the future.

We’re led by an inspiring chief executive who has big plans for the organisation and the workforce. Through her compassionate leadership we have seen an incredible amount of change in the past 18 months with the focus on culture, customer experience and the wider wellbeing of our colleagues. Supported by a strong executive and leadership team, and directed through our board, she’s been working across the organisation, identifying new opportunities and laying the foundations for the next 10 years.

We’re a customer-centred business, passionate about creating great homes. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. We firmly believe that satisfied colleagues make satisfied customers. This is why we have invested in our internal communication function to ensure effective engagement and communication across our organisation. We support our colleague engagement through an active engagement forum, working groups and regular events to listen to colleagues and share updates.
