How to pay your rent

Paying your rent is easy, with plenty of options available; 

Direct debit

Manage your rent payments with direct debit and know that your rent is paid securely and on time.  The direct debit can be collected from your current bank account on any day of the month to suit you, from 1st - 28th, or weekly, fortnightly or every four weeks, on a Monday or Friday.

Pay your rent securely online    

Standing order

Contact us for a form on 01305 216067 or ask your bank/building society to set up a standing order.

If you live in Dorset or Yeovil in Somerset, this needs to go to Magna Housing: account 30940879, sort code 20-27-12.

If you live in other parts of Somerset, this needs to go to Magna Housing: account 00327255, sort code 20-27-12.

Please tell them your tenancy reference number to make sure the monies reach your rent account. Remember you will need to change payment amounts when rent/service charges change.  

By cheque

Please make cheques payable to “Magna Housing”.  You must write your tenancy reference number and first line of your address on the back.
Cheques should be posted to Magna Housing, Oak House, Poundbury Road, Dorchester, DT1 1SW
Or you can pop into one of our local offices at:

At the Post Office

You can pay at any post office by cash, cheque – payable to "Post Office Ltd" or your debit/credit card using your rent card.
